Island Hospital is located in Anacortes, Washington on beautiful Fidalgo Island, north of the Puget Sound. Surrounded by oceanic straits, abundant wetlands, emerald forests and peaceful farmland, the community enjoys a moderate climate with only 20 inches of rainfall per year. This drier weather comes as a result of our location in the Pacific Northwest 'banana belt' region situated in the rainshadow of the Olympic Mountains.
