Honors
Our goal at Island Hospital is to achieve the highest possible quality of care and continue to improve our patient, staff and physician satisfaction. Island Hospital will always work toward our highest levels of performance quality and safety.
 
Island Hospital has won a number of awards for our quality of service, including:

  • 2009 - Consumer Reports recognized Island Hospital for high HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) scores, specifically on the issue of communication. HCAHPS is the inpatient satisfaction measure regarding patients' hospital experiences that Medicare mandates for public reporting. Island received the third highest score in Washington State and was one of five Washington Hospitals above the national average.
