The Island Hospital Employee of the Month for January is Registered Nurse Stacey Sardella in the Intensive Care Unit.

Stacey exhibits everything an intensive care unit nurse should be. She has a deep breadth of clinical knowledge, is skilled in the assessment of patients, capable of using high tech equipment and has excellent communication skills. Stacey has a high regard for providing the best possible care to seriously ill patients. She is kind, understanding and attentive to their needs. Her supervisor notes, “Stacey is an exceptional nurse who has the heart of an angel for her patients.”
