Visiting Hours

Island Hospital recognizes that during times of illness, visits by family and friends are important to the healing process. General visiting hours are between 8:30 AM and 9 PM.

For the safety of our patients and staff, the Island Hospital Main Entrance is secured after 8 PM each night and will reopen again at 7 AM. During this time, visitors should enter the hospital through the Emergency Entrance on the south side of the building.

Interpretation Services and Audio Loop Amplifiers

Effective communication between patients and their healthcare providers is vital to achieving access to quality care and ensuring positive health outcomes. Island Hospital makes interpretation services available at no cost 24/7, in compliance with federal and state laws, to assist patients, their family members and other legally authorized persons. In addition, we offer assistive hearing devices for individuals with hearing loss.

Gift Shop

Gifts & More, located near Central Registration, is staffed by volunteers Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The gift shop at Island Hospital sells baby items, scarves, jewelry, cards, toiletries, seasonal items and more. For more information, call (360) 299-1368. 
Cafeteria - Island Bistro

Island Bistro is open Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 7 PM and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. For the convenience of Island Hospital visitors, vending machines located just off of Central Registration are available 24 hours a day. Click here for the Island Bistro weekly menu.

For the convenience of our guests, an ATM is located in the hallway near Central Registration.

Electric-Vehicle Charging Stations

The Island Hospital campus has two electric-vehicle charging stations. One is located in the lower level parking lot of the Medical Office Building and the second is in the employee parking lot on 26th Street. A third charging station will be installed in the Medical Arts Pavilion parking lot in the near future.
These stations are available for employees, patients and visitors to use. The stations can charge all new-generation electric and plug-in hybrid cars such as Chevrolet Volt, Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric, Honda Fit Electric and more. Users must have a SemaConnect card and will be charged $1.70/hour for use of the station. Please reference the
