Walk-In Clinic
When you need treatment right away for minor illnesses and injuries. 

The Walk-In Clinic at Island Hospital is open every day: Monday - Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; most holidays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Symptoms
  • Colds, flu or fever
  • Ear aches
  • Sinus infections
  • Migraines
  • Sprains, strains or minor broken bones
  • Eye infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Rashes
  • Cuts or scrapes
  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea


Emergency Department

When you need immediate treatment for serious illnesses and injuries. Call 911.

The Emergency Department at Island Hospital is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Symptoms

  • Stroke (facial "droop", slurred speech or numbness in arm, leg or face)
  • Chest pain
  • Severe Abdominal pain
  • Coughing or vomiting blood
  • Severe burns
  • Severe bleeding
  • Severely broken bones
  • Sudden blurred vision
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Seizures
  • Head injury with loss of consciousness
  • Sudden dizziness or loss of balance
  • High fevers
