Put your heart in good hands

The Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Island Health is a 12-week program that includes 36 exercise sessions including weekly education and counseling sessions.

If you have recently been diagnosed with a heart disease, you have a supportive network right in your own neighborhood. The Cardiac Rehabilitation department at Island Health is purely devoted to helping you recover and get back to the everyday activities that you enjoy. We can help guide you through making lifestyle changes that will improve your health and teach you ways to stabilize, slow and even reverse the progression of heart disease. Learning that you have a heart disease is scary, but you don’t have to fight the battle alone. We can help you rebuild your heart health.
