Keeping you healthy from the comfort of your home
A strong patient-provider relationship is the foundation for high-quality patient care and reducing health care costs. Telemedicine is designed to support, not replace, traditional in-person appointments. With telemedicine, providers can continue to care for their patients remotely for follow-up visits, check-ups, and education when appropriate or necessary.
The following specialties at Island Hospital support telemedicine:
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Pain Management
- Pediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Sleep Medicine
Our Providers
Island Hospital providers offering virtual visits are listed below.
How A Virtual Visit Works
Before your appointment
- VSee works on most devices and browsers. Your experience will be best on a computer using Chrome or Edge as your browser. Click here for instructions.
- Make sure your browser is up-to-date or that you have performed all of your mobile device updates. Failure to do so may impact the performance of your video conference.
- Ten minutes before your appointment, enter the virtual waiting room (see links below) using your browser or the VSee video visit application.
- You will be placed into a virtual waiting room to see your provider. When your provider is ready, he or she will begin your video conference.
If you experience technical issues with VSee, please call (360) 299-4268, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our staff is here to help!
Virtual Waiting Rooms
