Island Health’s Physical Therapy department is a multi-discipline center, with a primary goal of helping you achieve optimal function and independence. Our hands-on approach begins with a thorough evaluation and assessment of your personal goals. We want to help manage your pain, restore function and prevent further injury so you can live a productive and satisfying life. Whether you are suffering from an illness or injury, we will work toward increased muscle function, mobility, coordination and endurance.
Our therapists are trained in disease processes, treatment techniques and exercise principles, all which focus on restoring your comfort and reducing limitations. Once you establish your personal goals, we will help you succeed, and possibly even surpass your expectations.
