Island Health’s Speech Therapy department provides assessment, consultation and treatment for individuals with speech and language difficulties. Our friendly and knowledgeable team of speech pathologists diagnose and treat communication disorders, including developmental delays, stroke, dementia, deafness and hearing impairment, as well as other concerns that can affect speech and language. Our thorough communication assessment will identify areas of improvement to provide a highly effective, individualized treatment plan set in partnership with our patients.
